Sustainability Has Always Been Built Through Action
Developing sustainability has been an integral part of Edita Prima's operations since 2005, when we began reporting on our environmental objectives and achieved results. At Edita Prima, we make information management, delivery, and communication safer, smarter, and more resource-efficient. Our goal is to reduce environmental impacts, strengthen information security and quality, and ensure employee well-being and a responsible supply chain.
Today, our sustainability work is guided by our 2026–2028 strategy, which focuses on four key themes: reducing environmental impact, developing secure and reliable services, strengthening employee well-being and expertise, and promoting responsible practices throughout the supply chain.
Sustainability Performance Must Be Measurable
Sustainability work is only effective when it can be measured. That is why we monitor our progress annually through defined performance indicators. We assess, among other things, greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, material efficiency, information security and data protection performance, customer satisfaction, employee well-being, and supply chain responsibility. These indicators help us identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance our operations.
Trust Is Built Through Transparent Reporting
Edita Prima has reported on its environmental impacts since 2005. This long reporting history enables us to monitor our development over time and makes our sustainability work transparent for customers, employees, and other stakeholders. Our annual environmental and climate reports provide information on our objectives, actions, and their impacts.
Certifications Demonstrate Independently Verified Performance
Our sustainability work is also based on internationally recognised standards and certifications. We hold the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Certification, the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification, and the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Certification.
In addition, our production facility meets the requirements of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. In 2025, EcoVadis awarded Edita Prima Oy a Bronze Medal for its sustainability performance, meaning the company performed better than or as well as 80% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
Sustainability Requires Continuous Action and Open Dialogue
Responsible business is also built together with our customers. We develop services that support our customers' own sustainability goals and contribute to a more sustainable future. We handle our customers' business-critical information and are responsible for its secure management, delivery, and use. For this reason, transparent reporting, active dialogue, and open operating practices are essential to us.
For us, sustainability means more than reducing environmental impacts. It also means security, quality, and reliability. Together, these create the foundation for customer trust and long-term partnerships.
